Adinkra

In Ghanaian culture, Adinkra are visual symbols, originally created by the Akan of Ghana and the Gyaman of Cote d'Ivoire in West Africa that represent concepts or original thoughts. The most popular of these being "Sankofa" meaning to reach back and get it - a concept of learning from the past.

This print reminds us of these symbols and is a bold statement of culture for any baby.  Our bandana bibs can be used as an absorbent protectant for bottle or breastfeeding, for a drooling teething baby, and to add style to your little one's outfit.

Materials:

  • 100% authentic Ankara African print fabric from Ghana, West Africa
  • French Bamboo Terry Cloth

  • All of our items are handcrafted with authentic Ankara African print fabric and a soft absorbent backing. Your little one can make all the mess s/he wants and look good doing it. What's even better is the easy clean up for you!

Due to the vibrant pattern of each Ankara fabric, no two items will be exactly alike. This is due to pattern placement when creating your piece. These are truly one of a kind. You can see the examples of this in the product pictures. Once you order, it takes approximately 3-5 business days to create your item(s). After we've completed your pieces, your order will be shipped. See the full Shipping Policy on the next tab for further details.
